Learning outcomes:
- Understanding the identity of the built space as an interpolation of the cultural, functional, affiliation, perception and affective resource value.
- Expanding the notion of vulnerability, from that of insecurity, to the capacity of exposed elements to respond to the challenges of hazard.
- Understanding the issue of disaster risk reduction management as a necessity of sustainable development.
- Identification and development of architecture and urban planning strategies in reducing the disaster risk of the built space.
