The event is organized by the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning within the project “Strengthening the UAUIM institutional capacity for research in architecture and urban planning, through fostering the culture of dissemination of results”. The project is financed through the “Institutional development fund” program, 2023 competition (CNFIS-FDI-2023-F0462).
The scope of the project is to strengthen the UAUIM support capacity for research in architecture and urban planning, through fostering a culture of dissemination of results, based on several representative actions in the research field. The Conference is subservient to Objective number 3.
The main objectives of the conference are:
-
To present and debate on the results of doctoral research, facilitating the dialogue between professionals. The objective aims to motivate professionals to form research teams, capable of developing research projects and improving the quality of doctoral theses through the exchange of ideas;
-
To improve the research skills for PhD students through workshops held by academic staff.
Even though the presence of a large audience is encouraged, access to conference proceedings is allowed only to the registered participants, regardless of whether or not they present a paper. The on site activity is dedicated only to PhD students.
All the papers will be delivered as oral presentations with electronic support (Power Point, Adobe Acrobat) and will last maximum 15 minutes, including the Q&A session, within moderated online sessions on 23 October and on site sessions on 24 October, in Bucharest. Rules for Zoom presentations are included in the end of this document.
There is no participation fee required for the registered persons (PhD students, with or without paper, teachers and guests). Registration is open only on-line, until the 10 October 2023, at the following link:
