Since 1996, Sergison Bates architects have given priority to urban investigations and housing as a building programme. They see the contemporary European city as a rich source of references and lessons that they draw upon in projects located in increasingly diverse settings and locations. This lecture will present a number of the projects they have built and are developing in response to briefs for creating fitting contemporary housing in European cities.
