This is the official announcement for the Jimbolia Summer School, with the call for UAUIM students already launched on July 21. Don’t forget to submit the official form until 1st of September. The call for the Jimbolia Summer School, action of Erasmus+ KA2 Triplex Confinium project is opened for the students in the 3rd and 4th year. The summer school will be held in Jimbolia (Timiș), 17- 30 September. Triplex Confinium is an international project (Strategic Partnership for higher education) tackling gaps and mismatches in the field of higher education for architecture and urban planning while exploring and addressing discontinuities along the national borders in-between Romania, Hungary and Serbia.
We are looking for students interested in the particular heritage of areas defined by overlapping cultures, in the understanding the urban and architectural evolution but who are also interested to learn about contemporary interdisciplinary approaches in research and theory of architecture and methods of connecting and working with the local communities.
(good) Knowledge of English language is mandatory.
Those who are interested are asked to send a short motivation letter (cursacan5@gmail.com), in English (max. 250 words) until 31st of July. The letter will emphasize your previous experience in connection with similar activities (summer schools, workshops, etc.) and your expectations for about Jimbolia Summer School.
