- Fișa disciplinei:
- FI-D PID-141 Proiectare design si teoria proiectului (4.2).pdf
- Department:
- Interior Design and Design
- Course Leader:
- Bogdan Radu
- Learning outcomes:
- The ability to conceive and draft, including through digital techniques, for a need in which function is the most important element in the creation of the object and, implicitly, the form—ensuring it meets both aesthetic and technical requirements—as well as the ability to produce graphic presentations.
- Content:
- Problem solving, where “form follows function”, “Material and Technology / Function,” and the creation of a portfolio.
Phase 1:
This exercise proposes, in a way, a reversed but often encountered path in practice: the emergence of a new material and/or technology that, not infrequently, solves functional problems related to needs quite distant from those for which it was originally created or in which it already found an application.
Phase 2:
The topic consists of producing presentation materials that reflect the path each student has taken throughout the first four years of study. This exercise aims to make use of graphic design skills acquired during the course.
- Teaching Method:
- General theoretical presentations, project presentations on boards, individual feedback and guidance during the project development, creation and presentation of research sheets, studies based on models and 3D prototypes, continuous guidance throughout the study, with individual and board critiques.
- Assessment:
- General theoretical presentations, project presentations on boards, individual feedback and guidance during the project development, creation and presentation of research sheets, studies based on models and 3D prototypes, continuous guidance throughout the study, with individual and board critiques.
