- Department:
- Study of Form and Ambience
- Course Leader:
- Mihela Lăcraru
- Learning outcomes:
- The course provides students with the training elements necessary for the technical education, as well as the information necessary for the deployment and integration of a technological scheme of a product.
From mechanics, only the essential elements and operating principles are studied, typical of the thinking of the specialist in this field.
The specific information and practical skills acquired during the study are the basis of the specialist's activity, in the study and creation phase and in the design and execution phase.
- Content:
- Opening course
Simple mechanisms the pulley, the lever and the slopes
Pendulum and oscillatory motion
Pivot and axial movement
Articulations and degrees of movement
Spring and resticted movement
Gears
Transmission elements: chains and belts
Actuation and closing mechanisms
Gliding motion
Bionics and movement inspired by nature
Automation and intelligent control systems
Application of mechanisms in the design of transformable furniture
Circular design
- Teaching Method:
- Courses - online lectures on the ZOOM platform, computer examples, study on three-dimensional representations
- Assessment:
- Evaluations during the lectures - 20%
Written work - 40%
Final exam - 80%
Creating a functional concept model with at least two mechanisms - materials at students choice
The total average of all evaluations should be at least 5 (five)in order to pass the course.
