- Learning outcomes:
- The course aims an integrated approach on nature as a system, on human activity ando f architecture as a phenomenon emerging together with a series of geographic and bioclimatic conditions. Medium factors are explained as physical phenomena but also by studying their effects on human habitat. The architecture of the place is analyzed through the invariants that represent bioclimatic conditions of the place, resources, traditions, culture, customs. Special attention is paid to traditional architecture in Romania and to explaining its features. The relation between architecture and the materials of the place (wood, stone, earth) is also presented. Contemporary tendencies in sustainable architecture in various countries and on various continents are analyzed. Technical parameters of ambient control are presented.
