Learning outcomes:

From theory of architectural lighting to experimentation and to light art. Students will experience and better understand the effects of light, meet light artists, and create installations to participate in events dedicated to light.

Introduction. Themes for UAUIM experiments – night of museums and festival of light 2025.
Forms of Light art – from the light of the cave fire to AI art 2025
Festivals of light – the relationship with architecture - projections and design of independent objects - Lyon, Amsterdam, Copenhagen. Museums of light – Budapest, Unna, Rome...
Ephemeral art - Light painting – from Picasso to SDV 2024, Guerilla Lighting

Multidisciplinary artists – Olafur Eliasson – London (2019), geometry, perception, environment, design, menu, recycling, urban installations
Artists of light – light environments – James Turrell – Guggenheim, Unna
