- The main aspects of the course are:
• theory - short history of the evolution of urbanism, constitutive elements of public space projects and principles of urban design, public projects
• the relevance of urban design for the quality of public space
Course content:
C1 General data - way of data selection, elaboration and presentation of concept, conceptual idea of designing a public space project
C2 Urban framework - data on ergonomics and scenography of the urban spaces and brief history of the evolution of the urban framework
C3 Criteria and classifications of public spaces
C4 Dimensions and norms for urban space projects
C5 Spatial perception and elements contained in the urban design project; The quality of the urban design project using tools such as: image, orientation, texture, color
C6 Vegetation and planted spaces within the urban design project; Species used, planting norms and composition hypostases of the planted spaces within the urban design project
C7 - Details of planting and street furniture
- Teaching Method:
- Presentation in the form of a free speech given by illustrated examples and written course support
- Assessment:
- The theoretical information from the course and the acquired information will be used by going through a basic documentation selected by the holder, in order to carry out (during the seminar hours) one practical works (A3 format).
